For the EQXX, the team from Mercedes have optimised every single element possible; from the aerodynamics and lowest drag coefficient, to the minimal resistance in the powertrain and creating the most compact and capable battery system they can.
With a drag coefficient of 0.17, it is significantly lower than any production car, optimised in every way to help achieve the maximum range. It’s fitted with a 100kWh battery pack that’s half the size and 30% lighter than that found in the equivalent top-spec EQS, and an electric motor producing 180kW (241hp).
