It’s been a few years since I last drove a Cadillac, the CTS-V, and in many ways the CT5-V succeeds that car. While technically slightly smaller than a BMW M5, it’s also larger than an M3, but offers huge power by borrowing the engine from the C7 Corvette Z06 and Camaro ZL1 in the form of the 6.2 litre supercharged V8 pushing out 677hp (668bhp) and 893Nm of torque.
As with many cars from the group, there’s a lot of technology on offer for the price, including configurable driving modes, many variable settings, a Personal Data Recorder for track telemetry, and much more.
