A brand new Koenigsegg Jesko has arrived at my garage! The very first UK driven, customer owned example of the latest Swedish megacar stops by with Tommy from SuperVettura (Koenigsegg UK) and we’re going out for a drive. There are few words for how epic this is!

Only 125 examples of the ultimate Koenigsegg model, named after Christian von Koenigsegg’s father, Jesko, will be produced in total and deliveries have only just begun worldwide. Having filmed videos with SuperVettura for over 10 years now including a recent run-out in the One:1 with Tommy, this time around it’s time for an Egg to visit my barn.

This particular example has touched down and the customer has allowed Tommy to get behind the wheel and get some miles under the belt to find out what it’s all about. Finished in a stealthy black with exposed carbon elements and stripes, over a red Alcantara interior, it looks great and is something else on the roads.

The technology is unreal, the performance needs little explaining, and the experiences manages to combine raw excitement with a refinement that’s hard to fully explain. The engine is a development of the 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine used in the Agera. It has four valves per cylinder each with a bore and stroke of 92 mm × 95.25 mm and a compression ratio of 8.6:1. The engine has a power output of 1,280 hp.
