I run the see-through rotary engine Full Throttle to see what maximum rpm is that this engine can crank out using a non-contact tachometer to measure the actual RPM number.

I got curious and decided to measure the accuracy of the non-contact tachometer, is it was extremely accurate./Warped Perception
In the previous video, I stayed at 18000 RPM because that’s what the owner’s manuals says, I think it was more like 22000 RPM that’s my guess.

In the first run in this video I got about 23,000 RPM I saw that was pretty amazing but then I lean out the mixture and I got a whopping 29,000 RPM, I had no idea the Wankel rotary engine can get up to such a high RPM./Warped Perception
