This video illustrates the current teleoperation setup for our customized Menzi Muck M545 walking excavator. The excavator is controlled by the Ibex motion platform, via standard Menzi Muck joysticks.

The motion platform reproduces the cabin orientation (motion feedback) and displays an image stream on three monitors (visual feedback) in order to simplify teleoperated excavation.
For realistic yet comfortable visual feedback, three foldable screens provide a view around the unmanned excavator.The Operator has all relevant information in the same form as if he was in the cockpit of an excavator.
