The CNC Opensourced Farming Robot – The Future of Micro-Farming

Exactly three years ago, we introduced FarmBot Genesis – humanity’s first open-source CNC farming machine. Since then, we’ve manufactured and shipped over 1,000 kits to early adopters in more than 65 countries. Together, with our community, we’ve refined this technology. And now we’re ready to bring FarmBot to the masses.

Say hello to and Express XL – the first FarmBots designed and built for everyone. Both of these new kits will come 95% pre-assembled in the box, so setup will take just one hour. Best of all: they’re by far our most affordable FarmBots ever, and as always they are 100% open-source.

FarmBot Express XL is designed to mount onto a fixed raised bed or similar infrastructure. We do not recommend making a mobile raised bed for our XL sized FarmBots because it would be too heavy to move. The power supply needs to be plugged into a 110 or 220V AC GFCI outlet. FarmBot ships with a 30cm (1ft) power cord with a standard US 3-prong plug. You must connect this to your own extension cord of appropriate length. Alternatively you can power FarmBot with solar.
