The Taurus from “Moto2x2” is a two wheel drive motorcycle that comes equipped with two enormous tires, weighs a mere 82 kilos, and can comfortably fit in the back of pretty much any car. It’s called the Taurus 2×2, and it’s the two wheeled solution to conquering almost any terrain.
The Taurus is powered by a Honda GX210 210cc four stroke engine that delivers power to both front and back wheels, with a modest 7 horsepower and a two-speed gearbox it can hit a top speed of 22 miles per hour.
Best of all, this is a ‘folding’ motorcycle that can be disassembled and stowed in your car’s boot in just five minutes. It can also navigate where four wheel ATVs cannot due to its compact, light-weight size.
The 2×2 drive system and unusually large tires allow even the less experienced riders to cross the most difficult of terrains. The Tarus 2×2 is available in two versions, which differ essentially by the engine. Tarus 2 (two-stroke, 5.5 hp) and Tarus 2m (four-stroke, 7 hp).The consumption of Tarus 2×2 is about 1.2 liters per hour of gasolina and can handle a payload of 180 kg.
