There have been eight Ariel Atom generations to date: Ariel Atom, Ariel Atom 2, Ariel Atom 3, this particular one is Ariel Atom 3. Power for the Ariel Atom 3 comes from a Honda 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that is equiped with a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The four-cylinder produces 230 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque.The Atom 3 retains the inboard, pushrod operated damper system, but with changes to bellcranks and dampers.
