The CELESTIQ is planned to offer Ultra-Cruise the next evolution of Cadillac hands-free driver assistance technology, a Smart Glass roof and five high-definition advanced LED displays, including a 55-inch diagonal advanced LED display contained within a single uninterrupted piece of glass. Sergi gives us a first look into the future of luxury Cadillac EV’s.

The car is equiped with GM Ultium batteries and GM Ultium drive motors, with the GM BEV3 platform providing the underpinnings. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is expected to take just 3 seconds, while range-per-charge is expected to hit around 400 miles.

The exterior of the Celestiq was inspired by the brand’s heritage sedans, like the 1950s Eldorado Brougham. The Celestiq won’t be a regular production model like other Ultium-based vehicles. It will be largely built by hand, akin to a coach-built car. As a result, production will be limited to just 1.2 cars per day, meaning annual volume will be well below 500 units.
