QUANTiNO Twentyfive 100% Electric Drive with No Batteries

The Quantino is the latest electric prototype vehicle produced by nanoFlowcell engineers for their battery testing purposes.Powered by a revolutionary new nanoFlowcell® 48VOLT electric drive system, the electric vehicle will be capable of ranges of up to 2,000 kilometres.

The nanoFlowcell® in QUANTiNO twentyfive is fuelled with liquid bi-ION® electrolyte fuel, an aqueous solution that’s free of toxic substances, non-flammable and eco-compatible.The nanoFlowcell® flow cell drive that powers QUANTiNO twentyfive is not charged like conventional electric cars, but refuelled with liquid bi-ION® electrolyte fuel.

nanoFlowcell claims to have developed the first flow battery small enough to be used in electric cars. The nanoFlowcell battery uses electrolyte fluids to generate electricity from chemical compounds. nanoFlowcell uses, unlike the electrolytes in vanadium flow batteries or polysulfide bromide flow batteries.

The water-treatment system turns saltwater, brackish water or wastewater into carrier liquids for the specially nano-structured molecules – the actual bi-ION charge carriers. Quickly fuelled energy, enabling QUANTiNO twentyfive to travel up to 2,000 km before needing to refuel. Fully electric, fully safe, fully eco-sustainable.
