The JCB Fastrac – with, er, some modifications – has been crowned the world’s fastest tractor. Its driver, former bike racer Guy Martin, took the Fastrac to a world record speed of 135.191mph, with a peak speed of 153.771mph, in 2019.
Now, for Autocar’s famous Christmas Road Test, we not only bring you a full walkaround and technical specification of the JCB Fastrac, but we drive it flat out too! Youtube channel Autocar decided to dedicate an entire video to this machine:
The record-breaking tractor is powered by JCB’s 7.2 litre, 6-cylinder DieselMax engine. Capable of delivering 1,000hp and 2,500Nm of torque.
The Fastrac Two tractor twice a year won the Guinness Book of Records. In June of this year, the upgraded JCB Fastrac Two accelerated to 166.72 km / h, and in November – broke its own record, having traveled the segment at an average speed of 217.57 km / h. The maximum speed of arrival was 247.35 km / h.
